Mission
St. Dominic-Jackson Memorial Hospital recognizes its basic participation in the Mission of the Church which involves two main ministries: education and health care. One form of education is the Continuing Medical Education Program. The primary mission of the Continuing Medical Education Program is to promote the provision of high quality, efficient and caring health services.
Accreditation
St. Dominic-Jackson Memorial Hospital is accredited by the Mississippi State Medical Association to provide continuing medical education for physicians. St. Dominic-Jackson Memorial Hospital takes responsibility for the content, quality and scientific integrity of the CME activity. St. Dominic-Jackson Memorial Hospital designates each activity for a specific amount of category 1 credit towards the AMA Physician's Recognition Award. Each physician should claim only those credits that he/she actually spent in the activity. Those hours are listed below.
2008 Annual Multispecialty CME
As requested by many physicians, the 2008 Annual Multispecialty CME Conference is moving to a warmer climate. The conference will take place at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, June 21-24, with accommodations at Disney's BoardWalk Resort. It will be a great opportunity to combine an incredible family vacation and invaluable learning experience in one memorable trip.
