Established in 1988, St. Dominic's Hand Management Center is a multi-specialty clinic providing continuous care for persons with injury or disease affecting the upper extremities (hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder). The center boasts certified hand therapists with over 140 years of combined experience.

Who is a Certified Hand Therapist?
A Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) is an occupational therapist or physical therapist who has a minimum of five years of clinical experience, including 4,000 hours or more directly practicing hand therapy. A CHT has also passed a comprehensive test of advanced clinical skills and theory in upper quarter rehabilitation.
Every CHT must demonstrate on-going professional development and competency by becoming recertified every five years. Currently, there are only an estimated 5,294 CHTs in the United States and only 29 in Mississippi. CHTs demonstrate personal dedication to the hand therapy profession and want to continue education in their field.
The CHT has achieved the highest level of competency in the profession and maintains practice within the field, assuring patients are receiving the best possible care. CHTs demonstrate personal dedication to the hand therapy profession and want to continue education in their field.

Our staff frequently participates in multi-discipline student teaching, professional conferences, health screenings, reasearch, publications and lectures. Enter St. Dominic's North Campus by turning north on North Curran Drive. If coming from I-55, this is the first right after the second crosswalk.
Take first right after parking garage and proceed to St. Dominic's Dominican Plaza.
Parking is available in front of the building or in the adjoining parking garage. Outpatient Rehab is located on the second floor.
