Pelvic Health
Pelvic floor dysfunction can occur in men, women and children and lead to disruption of bladder, bowel and/or sexual dysfunction such as:
- Pelvic floor/rectal pain
- Chronic constipation
- Urinary urgency/frequency
- Urinary/fecal incontinence
- Prostatitis
- Pudendal neuralgia
- Painful intercourse
Our pelvic floor program provides effective treatment by a certified or experienced therapist on a completely private, one-on-one basis. Treatments include:
- Manual (hands-on) techniques to the visceral organs, abdominal, pelvic floor, hip, and low back areas to release restrictions
- Biofeedback to train pelvic awareness
- Relaxation and/or strengthening exercises of pelvic floor muscles
- Bladder retraining schedule to stop urinary frequency
- Therapeutic modalities to relieve pain and restore pelvic stability and function.
